Chocolate Cherry Cake

Chocolate Cherry Cake is a double chocolate delight.

This quick and easy dessert recipe will please all the chocolate lovers.



Ingredients:

For Cake:

  • 1 Chocolate Cake Mix

  • 1 Can of Cherry Pie Filling

  • 2 Eggs - beaten

  • 1 teaspoon Almond Extract

    • For Frosting:

  • 1 cup Sugar

  • 1/3 cup Milk

  • 5 taplespoons of Butter

  • 1 package of Chocolate Chips


    • Directions:

    For Cake:

  • In a large bowl, mix together chocolate cake mix, cherry pie filling, 2 beaten eggs and almond extract

  • Pour cake mixture into 9x13 non-stick pan

  • Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until done

  • Let cake cool, then frost

  • Refrigerate until you are ready to serve


    • For Frosting:

  • Combine sugar, milk and butter in a sauce pan and bring to a boil

  • Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chip

  • Pour over cooled cake

    • Enjoy making this quick and easy dessert recipe.
